Honey a vital component in today's beauty and skincare

While honey may be used to treat a sore throat more often than as something to soothe an insect bite doesn’t mean that honey doesn’t have its other uses.

For instance, honey can be used in many different beauty products: hair masks, moisturizers, face masks, and more. Skincare has recently become more popular with the younger generations and in general just self care, but many people nowadays choose to do things themselves, be it to save money or for fun.

As a result many people try to create their own hair and face masks with ingredients like eggs, avocados, coconut oil, honey, you name it and some reputable brands have followed this trend and took it upon themselves to do the same.

For example the brand Farmacy is known for it’s clean green products and so they use natural ingredients or so they claim, some being their honey antioxidant moisturizers and serums, but they are not the only brand to do this.

There are many brands that use honey in their skincare: La Mer, Tatcha, Hempz, Sulwhasoo, etc.

Another instance of this is in hair care, a famous brand like Gisou is known for certain products like their hair oil and hair mask both of which include honey.

Briogeo recently got into the haircare market and is already making their mark as they try to sustainably use natural ingredients in their shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and more.

Ultimately honey is one of the biggest ingredients on the market and people are now focusing on their health more and as a result began noticing the benefits of honey again.
